The supplement I use during every workout (and it’s not a protein drink…)

Hi there Reader,

I want to talk about something that gets lumped in with the supplement bro world but really shouldn't be and that is amino acids. Specifically, essential amino acids. And specifically, why I use them and why they matter for women who train.

First, let me clear something up because the terminology gets confusing fast.

You've probably heard of BCAAs, branched-chain amino acids. They're everywhere. They're in practically every gym bag. And they do something useful. But they're only 3 of the 9 essential amino acids your body needs and cannot make on its own. Just three. Which means if you're only taking BCAAs, you're getting a partial picture.

Essential amino acids, all 9 of them, are the ones your body depends on entirely from food or supplementation. They're the building blocks for muscle protein synthesis, for recovery, for energy production at the cellular level. When you're training consistently and trying to actually build and maintain muscle, your body needs all 9 working together. Not a shortcut version.

This is why I use Kion Aminos. It's a complete EAA formula. Kion Aminos have all 9 essential amino acids, in research-backed ratios developed from over 20 years of amino acid science. The formula is weighted toward leucine (40% of the blend), which is the amino acid most directly responsible for triggering muscle protein synthesis. It's not a random assortment. It's specific.

I don’t go to the gym without my Kion Aminos. I have noticed so many positive changes since using them regularly.

Here's what I actually notice: less soreness after hard sessions, better recovery between workouts, and energy during training that isn't the jittery-crash kind because it's completely stimulant-free. No caffeine. No pre-workout feel. Just your muscles having what they need to perform and recover.

I mix it in water and drink it during training. It comes in Mixed Berry, Watermelon, Cool Lime, and Mango and they taste like actual flavored water, not like you're drinking a gummy chalky supplement (like other aminos I’ve tried).

If you're already training consistently and need a boost during your workout, you feel like you're sore longer than you should be, you're dragging into your next session, you're not building the way you expect this is worth trying. It's not magic. It's just giving your muscles the raw materials they're asking for.

Hi there Reader, I just wrapped up my first Foundation Blueprint cohort and I am so excited to have created a program that is all mine! When women start the Foundation Blueprint, one of the first things I ask is a simple check-in: where was your hunger this morning on a scale of 1-5? One woman wrote back: "I haven't had lunch yet, but my hunger was a three this morning when I woke up. That is progress for me because I'm usually not hungry in the morning. Woot, woot!" That message stopped me....

Hi there Reader, How much should I eat? I get this question constantly. In DMs, in discovery calls, from women who have been trying to figure out the answer for years. And the honest answer is the one that sounds too simple to be true: more than you probably are. Here's what I know from working with women, most of them aren't eating too much. They're eating too little. And they've been doing it for so long that their body has adapted around it, making everything harder; the energy, the sleep,...

Hi there Reader, Consistency over perfection. You've heard me say it. A lot. But I want to show you what it actually looks like because I think most people hear that phrase and still picture something that isn't quite right. It looks like eating breakfast every morning. Not because you have to, but because you understand why it matters and you've built enough structure that it's just what you do. It looks like eating the best PWiFF lunch you can when you've spent the day running from...
